Ropes are created at the Template:L with one Template:L, using the Template:L Template:L and are stored in finished goods Template:Ls. They are used in the construction of Template:L, Template:L, and Template:L (b + v). Ropes are listed under the 'chains' heading in the z-stocks menu.

It is sometimes recommended to take a rope with you at embark, so the construction of a well can be undertaken quickly.
