:hmmm. Well I changed it to link to the magma page, but I'd like to leave the FAQ in existence so that people can add questions that aren't covered by the magma page. ::I also feel that the magma FAQ should be combined into a broader category. Same comments apply to wood. The basic problem with the FAQs as they currently stand is that most possible topic area aren't included, and those that are are often too narrowly focused.Fedor 04:27, 11 December 2007 (EST) | ::I also feel that the magma FAQ should be combined into a broader category. I don't know if anybody else feels the same. The link format may be good if a guy's got a specific problem, but for newbie orientation, I think a single page with all questions and answers, and a list of question links at the top that jumps to the answer could work better (just put each question as a subsection). Also, I think this faq should be publicized more that the forums. Best if there's a way to put a sticky there that points here. juz my 2 coppers. -- Sphr 21:09, 3 January 2008 (EST) | I don't know if anybody else feels the same. :ok after looking at more stuff I realised that some pages are too big to fit in as answers to a question in a list of questions on one page. So I guess my earlier suggestion is not feasible. Still, maybe we can consider a "Quick Faq" which is a less detail on paragraph answer that potentially links to the detailed answers. That way, for one-liner answers, we don't have to create a special page for it and for detail answers, we can keep the current FAQ system. This could provide a better balance. -- Sphr 21:18, 3 January 2008 (EST) | :ok after looking at more stuff I realised that some pages are too big to fit in as answers to a question in a list of questions on one page.
