Also, as of v. 0.28.181.40d Guilds are still in the game, the part on how a mayor can get a request from a guild is my guesswork on what I observed when my Jewler tried to talk to my mayor for about a season, but my mayor was busy updating the stockpiles. During the season my Jeweller got elected mayor and was still trying to talk to the mayor, who was updating the stockpile records.
