+ | The v50 Jeweler's Workshop comes with a general "Cut Gem" job that by default will use any rough gem a jeweler can find. After the job has been created the gem type can be specified by modifying the job, in the Premium version this can be done by clicking on the magnifying glass icon and selecting the rough gem type here. DFHack is no longer needed for proper automation of gem cutting. On the other hand, it will be more difficult to cut anything but a specific type of gem, most often rock crystal, which is needed for crystal glass production. The easiest way to do this is to use a linked stockpile that does not accept the gem type you want to preserve. | ||
