It's still dependent on frame rate. Some people have Really slow framerates when paused (or fast) depending on things. I play at 200 FPS normally because I find it more [[fun]]. So, it only passes in a second or so. Your framerate can be Really low while paused though (this is uncommon and usually means you're also doing things that are causing it to drop Really low. And it also means that it'd be EVEN lower while playing DF. I put the at 100 FPS because the change that was made really left it too vague and leaving it at "at 2 seconds" would be like a slap in the face, because it is dependent on framerate, and framerates can vary. :That doesn't quite make sense - the framerate depends on the processing ability of the CPU and when paused there is not much to process. The FPS should always cycle up to the max then unless you put the limit pointlessly high. If it was 2 secs at 100 it should be 1 sec at 200, which it clearly isn't. --[[User:Birthright|Birthright]] 12:09, 20 August 2009 (UTC) | :That doesn't quite make sense - the framerate depends on the processing ability of the CPU and when paused there is not much to process. − | ::So i just did some testing and no matter what the FPS is, unpaused or with q menu, thers no diff at all between 10FPS and 200. Yes, i happen to have a moody dwarf right now. | + | ::So i just did some testing and no matter what the FPS is, unpaused or with q menu, thers no diff at all between 10FPS and 200.
