I tried constructing the 3-step repeater in my v0.31 fortress (in order to operate some [[danger room]] spikes) but ran into a rather curious problem - if water falls in front of an active pump, it '''will not trigger''' the pressure plate, which means that the blue pressure plate never triggers and thus kills the whole repeater (turning it into nothing more than a mist generator). In order to fix this, I suspect the (current) red pressure plate should link to the '''green''' pump, and the red pump should be the one that's unconnected; see below for how the fixed diagram should probably look. --[[User:Quietust|Quietust]] 13:08, 8 September 2010 (UTC)
