From the raws, it looks like giant brown recluse spiders inherit the [WEBBER] tag from normal brown recluse spiders, but do not have the [MATERIAL_EMISSION] tag for web spraying like giant cave spiders. This would seem to indicate that giant brown recluse spiders are not capable of spewing webs, but can theoretically produce webs semi-randomly in nearby tiles. Also, without a value multiplier, it appears that giant brown recluse spider webs would be equivalent in value to mundane spider webs. --Loci 19:53, 22 February 2013 (UTC)

:I just tested it in the arena, and they don't spray webs at enemies. They are, however, very good at injecting enemies with poison. Also, when assuming control of a spider in the arena, no options are listed under x-a, where Giant Cave Spiders have the "spray web" option. --#093#084#075#066#057#048#039#02a (#20b#509#807#a06) 22:31, 24 February 2013 (UTC)
