My dogs got lots of puppies the first years then suddenly stopped. Pigs, alpacas, llamas, sheep still bear offspring. My total lifestock count is 214 - is there a limit? It is just a hunch but it feels like there is a limit to "pregnancies"? If some animals die in an attack or get butchered it ''feels'' like baby animals pop up just after - never puppies though so far. Or is it because all are trained as war dogs now? They are all assigned to pastures. I have about 45, so I am not complaining, yet. --[[User:Old Ancient|Old Ancient]] 02:21, 11 April 2013 (UTC) | My dogs got lots of puppies the first years then suddenly stopped. My dogs got lots of puppies the first years then suddenly stopped. Pigs, alpacas, llamas, sheep still bear offspring. My total lifestock count is 214 - is there a limit? It is just a hunch but it feels like there is a limit to "pregnancies"? If some animals die in an attack or get butchered it feels like baby animals pop up just after - never puppies though so far. Or is it because all are trained as war dogs now? They are all assigned to pastures. I have about 45, so I am not complaining, yet. --Old Ancient 02:21, 11 April 2013 (UTC)
- There is a limit to the number of animals per species (to keep catsplosions in check) around 50. --MathFox 12:33, 11 April 2013 (UTC)
- The exact limit is 50 units total or 3 children per adult, and it prevents pregnancies rather than births. This limit has been in the game for over 5 years - it was present in 23a, and it's still present in the current version. --Quietust 13:39, 11 April 2013 (UTC)
