Northbridge: The Road to Riches is a 10 part video series authored by Kruggsmash. It is notable for its focus on storytelling and high production value. Notably in the countless hand-drawn images depicting the main characters and events.

Northbridge tells the story of Idräthkor Irolsazir aka "Treasurecavern the North Bridge", a Dwarven fortress that acts as a bridge between two continents. The episodes were published between February and June 2023.

Synopsys

Northbridge was founded as an above ground trade hub, the fort was based on a seven tile wide bridge build from claystone blocks. Most of the required supports for the bridge been mined and build over several winters into the frozen ocean. Parallel to the bridges construction a giangnt platinum bell was forged in the temporal fort on the westren shoreline. Soon after the completion of the initial bridge, trade relations with both elves and humans could be established.

With the incoming wealth came an expansion to Northridge and lavish 10 space bedrooms rose to the right and left of the bridge.

Soon the elves appeared and make demands about a quota to the tree cutting. But despite their childish demands, they also send a caravan and some more trading was conducted. To keep the tree folk in innuendo, the dwarf of Northbridge agreed to a quota of a max of 60 trees to be cut each year.
