Strange mood requests[edit]
I'm gonna try to collect enough info on specific messages from specific moods to put them in a table, or at least enough that I feel justified in replacing what's already on the strange mood page. Feel free to help out if you're sure you know which message(s) came from which moods for which materials.
- GreyMario sez: if an item has a ? at the end of it, that means it's not verified.
- I notice there's some strings for "the correct ore" etc on the strange mood page, but these strings are absent from the .exe file when viewed with a hex editor. They're present if you open up an older version of the game though... Maybe dwarves don't actually request ore anymore? --Marble Dice 02:18, 8 May 2008 (EDT)
- Hm, that would make sense, given I've never seen an ore request but have seen dwarves use ore as stone. Maybe we could slap a version tag on the "correct ore" moods for those who absolutely insist on being old-school. Next time I get a mood, I'll see if I can confirm any of those possession demands... five out of six of these moods in Dull Hammer have been possessions. --GreyMario 14:56, 8 May 2008 (EDT)
- Well, I fail at linking to GreyMario in edit comments, but I moved this table to the strange mood article with a re-write to boot. Give it a look over and thanks for helping. --Marble Dice 01:24, 10 May 2008 (EDT)
- Looks great! A valuable addition the the wiki. --Edward 20:35, 10 May 2008 (EDT)
