A Helm is a piece of [[armor]] covering the head.  It can be made from [[leather]], [[metal]], [[bone]] and [[shell]].  Helms made from leather, bone, or shell are part of the [[Armor#Armor_Levels|leather armor level]], while those made from metal are part of the [[Armor#Armor_Levels|chain and plate level]].
