Modest mod

Storing mod information on the wiki is entirely fine - we have an entire namespace dedicated to mods, in fact, although it's rather underpopulated. However, if you're planning to store the mod's current raws, I'd recommend something like Github instead (or another git host). git is a distributed version control system that's much better at tracking changes to groups of files than the wiki - you can essentially map your local copy of the mod raws to the copy stored on Github, which would make updating your local (or remote) copy of the raws much easier than copying over individual files.

For mod documentation, Modification:Modest mod (and possibly subpages) is probably a better location than subpages of your user page. (Note that "Mod" can be used as an alias on this wiki, so Mod:Modest mod links to the same page.) —Lethosor (talk) 21:09, 13 February 2015 (UTC)

OK, I'm not always great at getting hints, so please let me know if it's OK for me to put up whole raw files here? I'm not sure if you're just being helpful, or politely asking me to not do that.

I don't really intend to keep this stuff up here for documentation on a long-term basis - I just want a place to store raws while they're in-progress, where I can access & modify them from public computers. --Button (talk) 21:20, 13 February 2015 (UTC)
