It seems that the list of materials used is the older one; there are many new materials added.
The milled plants option under stockpiles gives us an idea of which materials should be added to the sidebar of this page. This list is of "Goods created", not "materials required", someone will need to infer that from this list. I shall list them all here verbatim.

Getting my quern to mill dye exclusively...[edit]
I was having trouble getting my dwarves to put bags in the custom stockpile I set for bags. They seem to have no trouble piling dimple cups into the stockpile I put in a separate room between the dimple cup plot and all the other food stockpiles. I set it to block all food except dimple cups, and then set all other food stockpiles to give to it. But the bags are trouble, I set all my clothiers and leatherworkers to give to the bag stockpile, but the dwarves just keep leaving them in the shops. And tantrumers keep wrecking the shops, which is the bigger problem, actually.
So I put my quern beside the dimple cup stockpile, didn't set it to give to the quern. And let the dwarves figure for themselves which bag to use.
...Seems to be working out so far.
