The millstone is used grind up certain plants to make flour and dye. To operate, it needs to be connected to a mechanical power source such as a water wheel or windmill.
If the power is interupted and the job must be requeued when it is returned. Therefore it is best to have uninterupted power or at least the ability to run it for a long period of time.
