Density is a material property that affects the weight of an object made from the material.

Many of the effects of the new material system are currently unknown and more testing in arena mode is necessary.

Initial tests show that density affects how much damage blunt-force weapons do. Additionally, an edged weapon or attacking part made of a metal with a low density seems to have difficulty piercing tissue layers.
