Tropical Template:Ls are those that are perennial warm. Template:L on the surface may evaporate during dry Template:L (usually summer). But they can be refilled by Template:L. Rivers are unaffected. Most tropical climates offer vast varity of animal- and plantlife (for example Template:L).
