The Dwarf Fortress Wiki is a free-access, free-content Dwarf Fortress wiki, supported and hosted by some guy called Briess Emi and Lethosor. Those who have created an account on the site can edit most of its articles. The Dwarf Fortress Wiki is ranked among the ten most popular Dwarf Fortress-related websitesa, and constitutes the Internet's largest and most popular Dwarf Fortress referenceb.

It launched on October 29, 2007, and has 10,057 articles.

The hosting costs for the wiki have generously been provided by Kitfox Games since November 2022.

Briess launched the Dwarf Fortress Wiki on October 29, 2007.

v0.31 era[edit]

A new version of the wiki was cloned for the 2010 release. It appears that the 23a version of the wiki was retroactively created during this time.

A new version of the wiki was cloned for the 2012 release.

DF2014 era[edit]

A new version of the wiki was cloned for the 2014 release.

The Dwarf Fortress wiki has its policies in the form of a list of rules. Each rule begins with one letter of the alphabet.

All editors publish their contributions under GNU Free Documentation License and the MIT License. This doesn't include images, which are tagged with individual licenses.
