This article is about an older version of DF. |
This article or section has been rated D for Dwarf. It may include witty humour, not-so-witty humour, bad humour, in-jokes, pop culture references, and references to the Bay12 forums. Don't believe everything you read, and if you miss some of the references, don't worry. It was inevitable. |
There are five contenders for this award.
Sea
Carp: Lord of the oceans and killer of dwarves. These horrid creatures of the deep will pull any Dwarf to their death in a short amount of time and could probably take on an Elephant if they were allowed to fight each other.
Hippo: Lord of the lakes and rivers. Like elephants, but swimming and in great hordes. Like carp, but huge and air-breathing.
Air
Giant eagle: Tyrants of the air and as big as a Horse. These almighty beasts are ok if you don't provoke them, but if you insist on taking them on then death will soon be yours.
Land
Unicorn: Ferocious monsters that are the current contender on land for King of the Beasts.
Elephant: The former holder of the title. In more recent versions, their ferocity has been toned down, and slaughters on the scale of Boatmurdered are a thing of the past. That being said, elephants are still powerful juggernauts when provoked.
