Dodger is a skill introduced in the latest release of Dwarf Fortress. It aids creatures in avoidance, causing enemies to miss more often.
Preliminary scanning of combat reports suggest that dodging is very common and effective - assuming that messages refering to dodging are in essence caused by the dodger skill.
