Autodump[edit]
Be careful using the autodump utility with items selected using 'd-b-d' (Designations - Set Building/Item Properties - Dump). This marks the contents of containers to 'dump' as well as the containers themselves. They are then dumped as separate items.
This is how it works:
1. Select area including * Dwarf Ale (Cedar) 2. Mark to 'dump'. * Dwarf Ale (Cedar) D - Dwarf Ale[10] D 3. Use Autodump to relocate all items selected. * {Cedar Barrel} * {Dwarf Ale[10]} <- At the next tick this will disappear as it is no longer contained inside the barrel!
You can use autodump to safely relocate barrels and other containers without losing the contents as long as ONLY the container is marked to dump. Ptb ptb 12:19, 2 August 2012 (UTC)
