Ornamental bricks are similar in purpose to regular bricks, but are five times more valuable. Most regular bricks have an item value of 5☼, while fine bricks have a value of 25☼. Because of their higher value, they are a good choice for trade goods or improving fortress value.

Note that, while labeled as Burn ornamental <color> bricks(2) in the q-add task menu of brick ovens, the reaction uses two boulders and produces four bricks.
