Goblets currently have no function except as a trade good (0.27.176.38c) - dwarves will drink directly from a barrel, bucket, waterskin or water source. Goblets can be manufactured from metal, glass, rock, or wood. Rock goblets are called mugs. Wooden goblets are called cups. Goblets will always produce 3 from 1 raw material, are worth the same as other crafts, and are thus a sensible choice for crafting.
