Greaves are heavy Armor covering the lower body, to be precise shaped plates strapped onto the legs.
They can be made from bone and metal (more?). For bone greaves you need 3 stacks of bones, no matter how many single bones are in the stacks.
Military dwarves set to use plate mail will use a full set of heavy armor if available.
Head: Helm
Upper Body: Plate mail
Lower Body: Greaves
Feet: Boot
Hands: Gauntlets
