I ask you for help! Need an idea for new fort: will it be a standard "dig in the mountain, forge and encrust" fortress, or something more unusual (a glass underwater palace, or wooden city in the sky, standing on a single support, or maybe obsidian tower menacing the skies)?

::Thanks! And a major export is that of wooden crafts. Wooden crafts stained in kitten blood ]>:->

Another issue: I was sure, that dropping kittens from the high ladder will paint the goods lying below with their blood. No way! *Mahogany crowns* are drifting in the pools of blood, but still, they don't have a single smear of blood on them. Is there any way to paint my goods red?

:Sorry, I've started it already. And by '''plain''' I meant '''simple'''. It's the forst time, when I decided to ''really'' plan out the layout od a fort. That'll be squarish. Very squarish. I'll post the map at the end of first year.

Current Fort

Probably should archive/remove the old suggestion idea which didn't quite turn out well (and suffered from an impossible suggestion with the kitten blood :P) Also, just How Plain are you talking about? I personally would have considered the last idea generally plain, if not easy, when it comes to non-mountain forts. Hmm.. Mountain Fort idea that's not too extravagant...

How about making a giant pit-quarry?

  • Majority of map must be at bottom most level.
  • 5-wide road that spirals inward from each corner (4 paths down)
  • Includes atleast one water tower to pump water out of the pit to the surface level.
  • Should have a water supply trickling into the pit. (e.g. One tile open to a river or brook to give a somewhat slow but constant flow.)

I would suggest thinking of a way to make a defense system work when you have no definite entrance.

How's that for ya? --Edward 07:27, 29 April 2008 (EDT)

Sorry, I've started it already. And by plain I meant simple. It's the forst time, when I decided to really plan out the layout od a fort. That'll be squarish. Very squarish. I'll post the map at the end of first year.

My math was stacks of 5 - processed into stacks of [25], 4 items for cooking lavish meals -->stack of 100 max. What am I missing? --Koltom 10:55, 2 April 2008 (EDT)

The fact that larger original stacks are possible. In the 2D version, IIRC, a stack of 11 was possible. --Savok 23:56, 2 April 2008 (EDT)

That's a template I subst onto the talk pages of users who my memory says are new and who make a mistake addressed in it. You forgot to sign your name. --Savok 11:47, 3 April 2008 (EDT)
