Dwarf fortress uses its own temperature scale in most cases. So if you see something like [HOMEOTHERM:10067], don't be amazed.
Conversion
[DF scale] = [FAHRENHEIT] + 9968
[DF scale] = [CELSIUS]*9/5 + 10000
