High gem value
Well now... that would explain why my latest fortress is so gem-heavy. I was surprised when I kept running into pockets of gems, but it makes more sense now. -Fuzzy 15:47, 1 September 2008 (EDT)

And based on matgloss_stone_gem.txt it doesn't contain anything marble doesn't (and marble contains a number of gems Schist does not.) Random832 10:24, 12 December 2008 (EST)
