Magnetite ore can be smelted at a Template:L by a dwarf with the Template:L labor activated to produce Template:L bars. It is, for all metalsmithing purposes, identical to Template:L and Template:L.
Magnetite is one of only 3 types of stones that can contain Template:L. It is also the only metal Template:L to occur as Template:Ls (~750 pieces on average). Because of its high material value compared to other types of stone that occur in large quantities (and the fact that you're probably going to want to mine it out anyways), magnetite clusters make excellent sites for high-Template:L rooms.
