Goblets, mugs or cups have no function for your fortress except as a trade goodv0.28.181.40d, mandate item, or collection item - dwarves will drink directly from a barrel, bucket, waterskin or water source.

Goblets can be manufactured from metal, glass, rock, or wood. Rock goblets are called mugs. Wooden goblets are called cups. A single job order for these always produces 3 from 1 raw material; since are worth the same as other crafts, they are thus the sensible choice for Crafting. If you have a legendary stonecrafter, it can be a good idea to provide him with a high value stone or, better, ore stockpile (ore can be worked the same as stone) because of guaranteed quality bonus and massive value.

Currentlyv0.28.181.40d "goblets" are listed under the "All" section of the goods menu at a trade depot, unless they are in bins and then they are grouped with other trade goods such as crafts. However if they are stored by themselves in bins they will be listed simply as "finished goods" and appear only under the "All" section. It's quite possible too to locate them by their distance from the trade depot.
