Do ANY testing with fire men! AT ALL! they are INCREDIBLY DANGEROUS!– unsigned comment by Dragontamercos
Camels - domesticated animals
Camels are indeed domesticated animals, and you can bring them on embark if they are available to your civilisation (which is uncommon, but definitely possible) for 251 points each - they are the most expensive of the domestic animals. Thanks for undoing 20 minutes of my time :P
- Well, not only do they not have
[COMMON_DOMESTIC]
in their raw files, but I have tested it myself and they were not there, so don't bother throwing smileys at me. If you're so inclined you can merely undo my undo, but mind you, your page links were incorrect to begin with. OluapPlayer (talk) 02:16, 2 March 2020 (UTC)
Thanks!
Thank you for the time and effort you've put into fixing up the Dwarf Fortress Wiki; you're doing a fine job! --Loci (talk) 16:20, 5 September 2016 (UTC)
- No problem! I enjoy contributing with what I can. Glad to see I'm doing it right, hehe. OluapPlayer (talk) 16:24, 5 September 2016 (UTC)
Underground creatures
I've noticed your additions to the creatures that cannot be spawned in Arena mode. Do you think something should be added to the effect of it being a common trait among creatures with the SUBTERRANEAN CHASM biome? (Pond grabbers and magma crabs have SUBTERRANEAN WATER and SUBTERRANEAN LAVA respectively, though.) The Mastrod (talk) 22:30, 15 June 2017 (UTC)
- I don't believe there's any relation. All these creatures just happen to have the ARENA_RESTRICTED token. I'd assume they're like this because Toady wants you to enter the caverns and discover them by yourself instead of potentially spoiling yourself in the arena, but that's only a guess. Your hydra pic
It's neat - however I count 'just' six heads - whoops? Probably should draw in an extra one. --Fleeting Frames (talk) 10:28, 26 February 2020 (UTC)
- Not my drawing. The picture comes from Wikimedia Commons. OluapPlayer (talk) 13:34, 26 February 2020 (UTC)
GCS
Why you deleted «juicy ass» joke from GCS page? --Grace of eternity (talk) 09:53, 21 October 2023 (UTC)
- Because it's a non-sequitur that came off looking like vandalism. If it was meant to be an actual joke, I'm afraid I didn't find it very funny. OluapPlayer (talk) 10:25, 22 October 2023 (UTC)
