Nokörtorad: Hunt for the Glacier's Eye also known as Nokörtorad, Deadbody is a three part video series authored by Kruggsmash. It is notable for its focus on storytelling and high production value. Notably in the countless hand-drawn images depicting the main characters and events.

The series follows Stâkud Konosakgos, the sole survivor of a cyclops attack, as she recovers the fortress of Nokörtorad.

Nokörtorad The episodes were released between December 2022 and January 2023.

Synopsis

The series was intended to follow the seven dwarfs calling themselves "The Dead Eye-Jailer" from a dwarfen civilization known as The Lance of Oiling, in their undertaking to reclaim it and jail the cyclops Sedurlitast Ushdishokang who had taken over the fortress of Nokörtorad, Deadbody. With the cyclops rushing out right after embark and killing all but one dwarf, Stâkud Konosakgos who ran away from the slaughter. Beingon her own without food in an arctic, reanimating zombie biome with her former friends rising and longing for her flesh Stâkud was in a dire spot.

She eventually managed to get into the fortress while locking the cyclops outside. As Stâkud was lucky enough to been able to grab a pick when still on the outside, she managed to dig down to the caverns and hunt for [Crundle]s meat and collecting seeds for cave wheat and sweet pods. With the resources for food and drinks gathered, Stâkud build herself a still and started to produce some alcohol. Around this time it became clear the fortress was hunted by the ghosts of its former inhabitants. Stâkud started to carve memorial slaps for each new ghost she encountered. This was the start of Nokörtorad's remberence hall. She later noticed an axe outside, right next to the wall. She managed to breach the wall and to get hold of the axe. She rebuilt the section just before the zombies moved in.

About a year later and totally unexpected, a group of 2 adults and two children along with a act and a yak showed up. The adults, being capable woodcutters, seemed to grasp the danger immediately, forming a small squad and clearing out some of the dwarf zombies in their way. While heading with their kids to a mountain ridge, towards which Stâkud dug a tunnel to usher the group in. The plan worked, and only the yak had to be left behind. This brought Nokörtorads population to five dwarves. To make her new friends feel welcome, Stâkud dug out some spacious bedrooms as the horrors of their arrival and the sparse living conditions seem do draw on their mood.

A dwarven caravan of merchants was not so lucky and despite their guards got slaughtered by the zombies. Another further migrant wave fled when encounteri the zombies

the dwarfes decided to venture into the caverns to clean out the hordes of undead crundels sweapin in to the fortess in waves. the military of 3 doing a dent i the undead while being in a viscous fight with two seriously wounded dwarfs

six more migrants made it to the enterence tunnel at the ridge later that year. Bringing the population to 11. While teh new hands been highly apreciated. The new faces caused a food crisis. another grfoup of migrantes had to be tured away due to the food situation not stabilizing otherwise. an undergfounf treefarm got established. as the caverns had to be sealed of as it got more and more crowded by undead creatures appearing. a new meeting hall was build and firnished to keep the mood up

Meta Story

Nokörtorad was the first fort in the world of Athira Etha. It was succeeded by [Northbridge].

Three dwarfs from Nokörtorad later migrated to Northbridge. Most notably Stâkud Konosakgos aka Hero of Northridge herself, as well as Thîkut ònulrag and Imush Unibedtûl.

Trivia

Nokörtorad was the first Kruggsmash series to feature the v50 tileset / graphics.
