Most popular dwarf name in community. It's often used as a generic Dwarven name in jokes and stories.

The origin of the name's popularity seems to be the tale of One Dwarf Against the World, a well-received narrative style account of a hermit fortress, played in the old 2D version.

Some people says also there were quite a lot of Urists in 2D versions.
