Alunite is a type of stone. Items produced from alunite are white.
Because it is a colored stone, alunite triggers an alert when discovered, as if one had discovered a precious metal. Alunite allows you to make items in the same white color that Light Stone used to, which is important, as most Light Stones are now used in the creation of Steel.
