Farmer is a profession used for the production of Template:L. Those with this profession are able to plant Template:L into any Template:Ls constructed.
As of v0.31.01, all farm plots require Template:L in any square in order to plant seeds within that square. Forum discussion has also said that this is a bug.[Verify]
