40d:Moss
This article is about an older version of DF. |
Though moss is in-game, its cause is currently unknown. Moss potentially appears after a long amount of time, such as after Template:Ls, or after logs of underground Fungi have been brought into a fortress.
Current known objects subject to moss are:
- Template:L constructions exposed to sunlight.
Current known cases of moss occurred in the following Template:L:
- Temperate Conifer Template:L (Warm Woodlands)
- Freezing Woodlands with Template:L Vent/Template:L.
Moss turns the tile it is on green. It is unknown whether Template:L will clean up moss, or whether traffic will destroy it like Template:L.
Many dwarf scientist have speculated that the so called "moss" is actually beards that fall off the dwarves once they get older and lose their hair. The many dwarven parasites that live in the beard, feasting off the dwarfs spilt food and drinks, eventually die of starvation and rot, turning the beard green.
Yeah, this page needed to be created. We could use some help on identifying exactly why moss is. --GreyMario 16:40, 8 May 2008 (EDT) |
