Tower caps now only spawn in mud on maps with underground rivers now, confirm/edit? Anonymousphrase 23:17, 3 November 2007 (EDT)
Does anyone know what [SOLID_DENSITY:560] in the matgloss_wood.txt means? Harder woods seem to have a higher values. Does anyone know if this affects item quality? --RaSchumann 10:58, 10 December 2007 (EST)
- I am almost certain this is the weight, relative to the standard value. Most of the items don't have this value defined. A standard ballista part is 200, A willow one weighs much less, a featherwood one nothing at all. Higher value is higher weight. --Gotthard 11:10, 10 December 2007 (EST)
as a newbie i was wondering if any trees are useful for food or plant gathering etc.? i guess not maybe that should be pointed out - i was unsure of cutting down maple or chestnut.. --Koltom 00:38, 8 February 2008 (EST)
- At this point, you can bravely deforest whole map for wood, it can not be used for anything else--Dorten 03:54, 8 February 2008 (EST)
- to clarify Dorten's statement, when certain plants grow in certain areas, they require different biomes (a good example being that dark plant in the haunted ones). The biome is determined as it was before forestry began, so eg forest/swamp plants will still grow if you chop down all the trees :P
