It'd be nice to see a little more biographical (or biological?) information on the Toady One. And why he chose that nickname. --Rusty Mcloon 06:08, 29 May 2008 (EDT)
Well we could always just add some we made up.
- Who ever wrote this bio you deserve a reward I laughed so hard who knew dwarf fortress is based directly off of his life. XD
This is definitely funny, but shouldn't we have some actual biography here? --Eduren 04:44, 15 February 2010 (UTC)
- Wow! Simply amazing! 23:39, 22 February 2010 (UTC)
- The giant fake bio should be scrapped. This is starting to look like an ED article. VengefulDonut 11:55, 28 March 2010 (UTC)
- I agree. --Briess 13:54, 28 March 2010 (UTC)
- Me too. The last time I looked at this page, it looked like this, which is much more appropriate in my opinion, albeit a bit short. I agree that having a bit more actual information on Tarn would be interesting as well. I don't even find its current state funny at all, really. --Retro 16:18, 28 March 2010 (UTC)
- Unanimous. 99% of that crap was by an IP user on Feb 3, with the cryptic edit-comment "I helped". They also <!--hid--> all the factual info about Toady, and removed the small bit about Zack. Sounds like a "friend" of T's who's giving him crap, but even if so a lot of that is so personal as to be beyond D-for-Dwarf "in jokes", and for all we know it's a petty attack rather than a joke. Reverting to version suggested by Retro. If someone with a name wants to step forward and convince us otherwise, they're welcome to, but until then imo this is too much for anonymous editing.--Albedo 17:07, 28 March 2010 (UTC)
