This template needs some "usage" documentation. For instance, simply adding this template to an article is next to useless - it leaves every reader wondering what parts are accurate and what are not. That said, I'm not sure what the point is of this template - if a User or Admin sees a version conflict, they should fix it, or at least bring it up in the Talk page, not simply hit it with a "Broken" rubberstamp and walk away. imo.--Albedo 00:59, 1 April 2010 (UTC)
- I created this after seeing several pages with messages (using the colored notice box template) saying that "this is no longer this way" or "this was how it worked in old versions". It automatically adds pages to a category, so that there's a nice easy spot to see all the pages with these messages. The reason a user would tag a page with this template? It isn't if they see something that they know to be incorrect, but rather if they see a message like the ones I previously mentioned. For instance, in my case, when I'm going along and fixing broken redirects and I see those sorts of messages, it's much easier to tag the article and move on than it is to go off and try to confirm the proper information. The point of the template (and category) is so that these pages don't get lost in the abyss and never get properly corrected. Emi 04:44, 1 April 2010 (UTC)
