- Bug: Obsidian is not currently listed as an economic stone (z > stone). You cannot switch between "use" and "not use", so you can only use obsidian for constructions if you embark in a biome with an obsidian layer. See the discussion page for a workaround.
Obsidian is one of the types of Template:L that forms entire Template:Ls. Obsidian is also found surrounding magma pools and volcanoes, exactly 1 tile thick.
"Obsidian" is the also name of the twelfth month of the dwarven Template:L, covering late Winter.
