A bridge is a construction that spans multiple tiles allowing dwarves to go across water, magma, and other obstructions. It can be connected to a lever to become a drawbridge, which will raise in a direction specified at construction. Anything under a drawbridge when it is lowered will be killed/destroyed. Bridges can also be made to retract, and anything on the bridge when it is retracted will fall.
