The skills Comedian, Flatterer, Intimidator, Persuader, Negotiator and Judge of intent are all skills used by the outpost broker to conduct trades.

These are gained by:

   * Successful trades at the trade depot.
   * Finalizing an export agreement.

Notable ways that these are not gained include:

   * Proposing an unsuccessful trade at the depot.
   * Offering goods to foreign traders.
   * Simply being assigned as the broker noble.
   * Sitting around at the depot, whether there are traders there or not.
   * Liaison meeting steps that occur before the export agreement.

With Judge of intent these additional effects apply

Known effects:

   * At Novice or better skill, the trade dialog will include an extra line about the traders' mood. So far I have only observed "the merchant seems happy with the trading" and "the merchant seems ecstatic with the trading" as successful deals are made.

It is gained by:

    * Proposing an unsuccessful trade at the depot.
