A Road is a path of dirt, stone or other material that makes it easier for people and wagons to travel.

Roads are built with stone blocks. The road also has to reach any edge of your land. You can also make a road out of dirt, which takes little time to make but will be gone after a year. A rough road can be made with regular stone. Roads can also be made of wood.

NOTE : In the current version it appears that a three tile wide road is no longer necessary for the human caravan to reach your trade depot. The wagons can travel across most surfaces, including up and down ramps, as long as boulders and trees have been removed from their route. Building a road does prevent trees from growing in the designated area. Road may allow a Human Caravan Wagon to move faster than it would on rougher surfaces (confirm?).
