Possible verification for gremlins pulling levers -- they have the [MISCHIEVIOUS] flag, unlike any other creature. --Corona688 01:26, 15 November 2008 (EST)

They did in the old version, but I think they don't even spawn in the new version. I remember Toady saying he wanted to bring the gremlins back, along with other improvements to chasm civilization(s).--Maximus 01:42, 15 November 2008 (EST)
I saw a gremlin in my current fortress (40d), but I haven't seen him pulling any lever. But he was not next to my levers before I killed him, so I can tell you if they still do that. Timst 03:11, 15 November 2008 (EST)
Confirmed. I've seen an annoyingly large number of gremlins wandering around; they were given names (along with the dozen or so cave-swallowmen nearby in the chasm) by the dwarves, which spammed me half to death with messages akin to "THE DWARVES HAVE GIVEN A RESIDENT _______ THE NAME _______."
No evidence of lever-pulling or other mischief; however, they do have a nasty tendancy to scare the hell out of any dwarves that wander by to get a drink. (There were three or four immediately visible ones when I checked the units screen; I don't know how many more might have been hiding in the other hidden features.) ~ Midna 03:38, 5 December 2008 (EST)
