Soldier Ignoring Rest
I have a wrestler with a broken arm, I think its a sparring injury. But he just does not want to rest. He's walking around normally and waiting at the meeting hall as if he was all right. BTW All my beds are inside. I tried deactivating him, putting him into Fortress/Royal Guard, stationing him at a bed but nothing worked. Help!!! What should I do!--Stinhad Limarezum 06:39, 21 October 2008 (EDT)

:I believe arm injuries (even red ones?) do not necessarily impede a dwarf from his daily tasks, and don't trigger rest.  It's been a while since I've seen a dwarf with an arm injury and nothing else, though.--Maximus 18:53, 21 October 2008 (EDT)

:I am having a similar problem.  One of my champions (so I cannot un-enlist him, though he is in his own squad and is standing down) has a red right lung and light gray upper spine but appears to be able to go places.  Sometimes he gets winded, and I did have to take away his waterskin so he could not be depressed anymore.  Still, he won't go rest and heal up?  Is there no hope? --65.190.189.62 03:27, 22 November 2009 (UTC)

::Upper spine is part of the nervous system and will never heal, and other sources suggest that lung damage will never heal either. Since there's no point in resting, he continues to work normally, though likely with a bit of pain. --Quietust 04:11, 22 November 2009 (UTC)

:::So, someone with a broken neck is an invalid who will lie in bed forever? Is there any way I can "pull the plug" on a dwarf in this condition? 24.118.120.25 08:53, 29 November 2009 (UTC)

:::: Oh yes, you can pull the plug ;) --Karl 17:51, 29 November 2009 (UTC)

Is lack of consciousness "normal" when resting?
