:If you've got the supplies on hand to give every dwarf an axe, want to be able to do on the spot conscription in emergencies, and don't have a standing milita, then I suppose it's probably a good plan. I believe this method has been tried in the 2D version with good results (forget by whom, unfortunately).Fedor 15:15, 5 January 2008 (EST)
If you've got the supplies on hand to give every dwarf an axe, want to be able to do on the spot conscription in emergencies, and don't have a standing milita, then I suppose it's probably a good plan. If any of those are false, I'd say it's more hassle than needed. --Edward 20:00, 5 January 2008 (EST)
