Caves are a natural formation that occur in mountainous or rocky areas. Some caves may contain hostile creatures or water, and vary in size from a few tiles to long, winding passageways.
It is believed that the Dwarves' ancestors once lived in caves thousands of years ago, but most modern Dwarves scoff at the idea that their distant relatives could have lived in such base conditions.
