== Characteristics of biomes ==

The idea is that each Biome has different advantages and problems, however, its really hard to tell what they might be. I think we could use some sort of top level summary cards (like school kids in RL) presenting each biome defining characteristics by someone familiar with world-gen possibly with some nice descriptions of what each game area suppose to represent or notes about difficult of play.

-Here is [https://rimworldwiki.com/wiki/Biomes one example] of what I mean regarding better differentiating the different gameplay advantages and problems of biomes. In the meantime, lets improve on our presentation of what data we have, here is quick table ([https://imgur.com/a/4a64j from]) not if its more uptodate than what we have from [http://www.bay12forums.com/smf/index.php?topic=20685.0 this] or either is up to date at all, but its a starting point for anyone who want to a little science.

-Following the suits with collage on this page, I recently stitched a [[:File:Deserts overview.png]] to illustrate the verity of in-game biomes (sand, rocky, badlands), which may not necessarily align with terminology most people are familiar with.
