:I can further confirm that they seem to be quite deadly now, I used a dwarf with no carpenter skill to make the spears and my dwarfs were using full steel/iron armor and shields ranging from superior to exceptional quality and cloaks and there were many injuries that required hospitalization after a single cycle. I also did some testing with copper armor which ended up in one death and a lot of nerve damage. The skill level varied between tests and soldiers, but I noticed no difference between them, injuries would happen no matter how skilled they were. Gains were of course negligible. My setup was the same as Simple minimal manual danger room seen in the article. Of course there could be something I've done horribly wrong but this setup has worked for me in the past with copper armor. I think a disclaimer mentioning this is actually dangerous and deadly is needed. --[[User:Yenkul|Yenkul]] ([[User talk:Yenkul|talk]]) 21:56, 7 June 2017 (UTC)
