In a recent change to the capybara article, they went from emitting "sounds" to emitting "noises", with a hyperlink to this article.  Normally in English, the words "sound" and "noise" are synonyms, but here on the wiki "noise" also refers to this Fortress Mode mechanic. By making the word a hyperlink it gains another implication - that capybara noises (and presumably other vocalizations, from the kakapo or modded creatures using the SOUND token) disturb sleeping dwarves in Fortress Mode. While this wouldn't be beyond Dwarf Fortress as a feature, the fact that there is no claim elsewhere of vocalizations existing in Fortress Mode, I feel it is more likely an accidental linking of the concepts which should be undone. It is such a fantastic claim that it needs some !science! behind it.
