These are a relatively common find in the caverns, and after a few cagetraps are laid you can acquire a breeding pair. They are relatively cheap at the embark screen currently for only 20 points each, so you can save yourself the time for a low price. They are better at combat than war dogs, but in the amount of time you can get a handful of War Cragtooths you will get many more dogs that are worth more overall. The Cragtooth is better used for industry instead of war.
