Wood in Masterwork Dwarf Fortress is greatly simplified from vanilla DF, a feature that helps prevent FPS death.
Types of wood[edit]
There are five types of wood in Masterwork DF:
- Rough wood, produced from most above-ground trees
- Fungiwood, produced by most underground trees
- Netherwood, produced by deep-underground trees
- Ironbark and Steeloak, only produced by rare above-ground trees
Processing[edit]
Wood and planted trees can be processed at the timberyard.
